How to use this test
Carefully remove the test cassette from the foil pouch.
Do not break the seal on the foil pouch until you are ready to begin the test to ensure accuracy.
Using a clean and uncontaminated sample pot, obtain a urine sample from the individual being tested.
It's recommended to observe the individual being tested as they provide their sample.
Pull the protective cap off the bottom of the test to reveal the absorbent testing strip.
Avoid touching the strip to maintain its integrity, and keep the cap for later use.
Carefully dip the testing panel into the urine sample, ensuring the urine does not touch the plastic case.
Allow the test to absorb the urine for about 10-15 seconds. You will see the urine moving up the strips.
After 15 seconds, remove the test from the urine and replace the protective cap.
Lay the test on a clean, flat surface while the test lines develop.
Negative results can be read as soon as they appear.
A pink coloured line should appear on the strip at the control band (C), indicating the test is working properly.
If no line appears in the control band, the test is invalid and should be repeated.
If two lines appear, one at the control band (C) and one at the test band (T), this indicates a negative result for the drug being tested.
Positive results must be read at least 5 minutes after removing the test from the urine sample.
If only one pink line appears at the control band (C) and no line appears at the test band (T), this indicates a positive result for the drug being tested.
All results should be read within 10 minutes to avoid false readings.
If the control band (C) fails to appear, the result is invalid, and the test should be repeated with a new test cassette.
