About this test
Brand we're currently stocking: Eldon
Your blood type is based on the presence of A and B antigens on your red blood cells, plus whether you’re Rhesus (D) positive or negative. That means your blood group will be A, B, AB, or O, and either positive or negative.
This simple at-home test makes finding out your blood group quick and easy. Using a small fingerprick sample, your blood reacts with pre-applied antibodies on the test card, creating a visible pattern that reveals your ABO and Rhesus (D) group.
Why does your blood type matter?
- Medical emergencies – If you ever need a blood transfusion, knowing your type could be crucial.
- Pregnancy & family planning – Certain blood group differences can impact pregnancy care.
- Travel & donations – Some countries ask for your blood type, and it’s useful if you want to donate blood.
- Knowing more about your health – It’s a small but important piece of personal medical info.
