About this test
Celiac disease and gluten sensitivity can cause significant discomfort and health issues.
This test detects antibodies in your blood that are associated with gluten intolerance and celiac disease, providing you with valuable insights.
Designed for anyone experiencing symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, weight loss, or irritability, this test can also benefit those with nutrient deficiencies like iron or vitamin B.
Using a small blood sample, the test identifies IgA and IgG antibodies against deamidated gliadin peptides (DGP)
Results in 10 minutes indicate whether your antibody levels are close to the threshold suggestive of gluten sensitivity.
Brand of test may vary.

How to use this test
- 1
Prepare for the test
Wash your hands thoroughly.
Lay out all the needed materials. Open the aluminum bag and remove the test strip case and pipette.
Discard the desiccant bag.
Open the vial by unscrewing the white cap, making sure it does not fall.
- 2
Prepare the lancet and draw blood
Carefully perform a 360° rotation of the lancing device’s cap, then extract and discard the released cap.
Press the lancet against your fingertip (preferably the ring finger).
The lancet will retract automatically. Massage the fingertip to form a large drop of blood.
- 3
Collect the blood sample
Use the pipette to collect the blood drop by placing it in contact with the drop.
Continue massaging your finger until the blood reaches the black line on the pipette.
Open the vial and immediately transfer the blood from the pipette into it.
- 4
Mix the test solution
Press the pipette bulb to ensure all the blood is in the diluent solution.
Screw the cap back on and mix well for at least 10 seconds.
- 5
Apply the sample and wait
Unscrew the blue cap of the vial and deposit 3 drops into the well on the test strip case.
Wait exactly 10 minutes for the test to develop.
Read the results after exactly 10 minutes. Do not read after 15 minutes, as results may not be accurate.
- 6
Read and interpret the results
A coloured line under 'C' (control) indicates a negative result.
Two coloured lines under 'T' (test) and 'C' (control) indicate a positive result, suggesting probable celiac disease.
If no lines appear or only a line under 'T' appears, the test is invalid and should be repeated.
